DEEP-SEA at the ISC 2023
DEEP-SEA and the SEA projects to be represented at the EuroHPC JU booth – research group leader Estela Suarez to give keynote speech on Wednesday.
As in previous years, the DEEP-SEA project will be represented at the ISC in Hamburg. At this year’s conference, DEEP-SEA will share a board with its two sister projects, RED-SEA and IO-SEA, at the EuroHPC JU booth. The board will feature a poster with more info on each project and how they work together to develop complementary European technologies for future heterogeneous exascale HPC architectures. Project members at the booth will be happy to answer any questions visitors may have. Additional info about DEEP-SEA and the SEA projects will also be shown in the JSC’s section of the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS) booth. The floor plan of this year’s ISC can be found here.
DEEP-SEA is also proud to announce that, together with Thomas Sterling, Professor of Intelligent Systems Engineering School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Indiana University, DEEP-SEA’s research group leader Estela Suarez will deliver the Wednesday Keynote address on the past and the future of HPC in Europe and world-wide. The presentations will focus on significant HPC-related events since last year and will also provide an outlook into the future of HPC.
Together with ADMIRE, DEEP-SEA is also co-organising the HPCMALL 2023: 2nd International Workshop on Malleability Techniques Applications in High-Performance Computing. All holders of the workshop ticket are welcome to join the event.
Another contribution from DEEP-SEA researchers to the conference program is the presentation of the paper “Running Kubernetes Workloads on HPC” by Antony Chazapis, Fotis Nikolaidis, Manolis Marazakis and Angelos Bilas during the International Workshop on Converged Computing.
This year’s conference takes place from May 21-25, 2023. For more information, visit the ISC website.
